Pressure washing involves using powerful hoses that blasts surfaces clean with pressurised water jets to thoroughly clean a dirty surface. Fair warning: the high pressure from pressure washer jets are high enough to be dangerous and even painful. Don’t find out the hard way. Soft washing uses the same machine as a pressure washer but the PSI (pressure per square inch) is adjusted to 500 PSI or less. The tip of the pressure washer is also replaced with one that widens the spray which drops the pressure.
Soft washing relies more on specialised cleaners during the process of cleaning. They combine a light pressure with cleaning product to remove any dirt, mould or algae.
